Canterbury Summer Theatre concludes its 2026 season with the Southern comedy, Red, White and Tuna, performing August 5-8.

Written by Ed Howard, Joe Sears, and Jaston Williams, this third installment in the beloved Tuna trilogy takes the audience through a satirical ride into the hearts and minds of the polyester-clad citizens of Texas' third smallest town.     

Along with Tuna's perennial favorite characters, some new citizens burst into the 4th of July Tuna High School Class Reunion. This sets the stage for a show full of fireworks and fun from the land where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies.

The wacky inhabitants of this town -- men, women, children and animals -- are all played by five actors who must change parts (and costumes) at a breakneck speed and use inventive voice work. 

The production is directed by Canterbury Resident Company member, Jordan Holmes.

The cast includes Adina Lockwood, Noah Lofton, Garrett Montgomery, Daisy Obregon and Evelyn Parker.

Scenic design is by Lilith Ferrero with lighting by Avery Blank. Daisy Obregon and Lisa Turner provide costume design and Dean Morgan will be production stage manager.

The Canterbury Resident Company is comprised of theatre artists hired from throughout the country, which has produced a season of musicals and plays in downtown Michigan City since 1969.

Canterbury performances are at 2:00 PM on Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 pm. Regular admission price is $22.00, $20.00 for seniors (62 and above), and $11.00 for students and military.
