South Shore Arts is thrilled to launch NWI Homeschool Art Classes! 

We look forward to making this a creative, engaging, and inspiring opportunity for homeschool families throughout our community.

We will continue to grow the program throughout the year by offering new classes, projects, and artistic mediums for each age group, giving students exciting opportunities to learn, create, and discover something new.

NWI Homeschool Art Classes- Acrylic Painting, K-2nd grade
Mondays, 10-12, 4 weeks, November 2-23rd, $80, Studio B. Learn basic painting techniques, experiment with color mixing, explore different brushstrokes, and discover creative ways to use paint. Through engaging projects, students will develop foundational painting skills.

NWI Homeschool Art Classes- Ceramic Hand Building 3-5th grade
Mondays, 10-12, 4 weeks, November 2-23rd, $80, Studio A. Hand building ceramics will teach students techniques such as pinch pots, coil building, slab construction, and adding texture and details as they learn to join, shape, and refine clay while creating functional ceramic pieces.

NWI Homeschool Art Classes- Printmaking 101, 6-8th grade
Mondays, 10-12, 4 weeks, November 2-23rd, $80, Studio B, This introduction to printmaking will allow students to discover a variety of printmaking techniques. Student will experiment with different elements of design such as, line quality, texture, and shape, as well as, learning how to transfer their design onto paper.

NWI Homeschool Art Classes- Sculpture, 9-12th grade
Mondays, 10-12, 4 weeks, November 2-23rd, $80, Studio C. Students will experiment with a variety of materials and sculpting techniques while learning about form, texture, balance, and structure. Throughout the four weeks, students will develop their creative ideas, explore different approaches to sculpture, and create unique three-dimensional works of art.
