Are you ready to step into the fascinating world of upholstery? Learn the fundamental techniques and skills necessary to reupholster a simple dining room chair of your choosing. This hands-on experience of taking a chair from the frame to the finishing fabric and trim will introduce students to the knowledge and techniques needed to tackle a wide range of upholstery projects with confidence.
Suitable for beginners with little to no upholstery experience and those looking to refresh their skills.

Book Arts Workshop - Art Books
Saturday, May 24, 10 am – 1 pm
$25
Learn small art book techniques suitable for writing, creating zines, or as a foundation for personal artwork. The workshop will cover the basic origami book, a 12-page zine, the M book, the backward/forward book, the snake book, the flag book, and the tunnel book- working through as many as participants are willing to tackle! All basic materials will be provided, but we encourage you to bring any materials or images you’d like to incorporate into your work.

Collaged Printmaking–Chine Collé

Join us for an immersive workshop exploring intaglio printmaking, focusing on the chine collé technique. Discover how to enhance prints using delicate, collaged papers bonded to the print during the press run. The workshop covers plate preparation and inking, emphasizing layering color, texture, and imagery. This class offers an opportunity to experiment with materials and develop expressive, multilayered works of art.

Instructor Mary Schons has over 20 years of yoga experience and brings much knowledge to her practice and teaching. Dress in comfortable clothes. Props and mats are provided, but you can bring your own.
