The First Friday Art Walk is a multi-venue event which occurs downtown in the Uptown Arts District which focuses on fostering the arts and the artists who help create it. On the first Friday of every month from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., local, uptown businesses open their doors to the public and host artists and their work. These “pop-up” galleries showcase anything from painting to sculptures, to live performances. Each month, the number of participating businesses varies and so does the artwork, so be sure to come out each month and see what’s new!
