About
Join South Shore Arts for our Annual Evergreen Artisan Market, a multi-week winter market showcasing the work of over 30 talented artists and craftspeople. Last year, South Shore Arts welcomed an average of more than 1,500 visitors per week during the market, offering vendors an unrivaled opportunity to showcase their work.
This year’s market will feature a variety of media including jewelry, ceramics, stained glass, paintings, prints, and other handmade objects.
Evergreen Artisan Market Highlights
· Low Maintenance: Vendors are not required to staff their booths. All purchases and payments are processed through South Shore Arts, freeing vendors’ time and allowing them to participate in other shows and fairs.
· Extended Duration: Work will be available for purchase seven days a week throughout the entire market, with extended hours during special events and theater productions.
· Low Consignment: Vendors receive an 80% payout on all work sold.
· Engage with the Public: Multiple events will highlight featured artists and provide opportunities for artists to discuss their work and engage with the public.
· Family Art Activities: Family-friendly art activities and holiday-themed events will take place every weekend during the Winter Market to help attract visitors to the market.
· New Faces: During the holiday season, the Center for Visual and Performing Arts sees an average of 1,600 visitors per week.
Entry Specifications
Artists and craftspeople must submit:
· A short bio describing themselves or their studio and their work
· Four images representative of the work they wish to sell in the Winter Market
· All work must be original and made by the artist(s). No purchased, mass-produced, or imported goods will be accepted.
Image requirements for both 2D and 3D work
· Minimum resolution of 300 DPI
· Minimum image size of 4 inches in either direction (width or height)
· Saved as .jpg files
· File naming format: Use the first six letters of your last name, the first initial of your first name, and the image number (1–4).
Example: Barbara Smithson → smithb1.jpg
Accepted Booth Fee
Accepted artists and craftspeople are required to pay a one-time booth fee of $185 for the full duration of the South Shore Arts Evergreen Market (November 20 – December 23, 2026).
Sales
All sales will be processed through the South Shore Arts Gift Shop. South Shore Arts retains a 20% commission on all products sold.
Payment checks will be issued within 30 days of the Winter Market’s closing.
Products not picked up within 30 days of the scheduled pickup window (January 4, 2026) will become the property of South Shore Arts unless prior arrangements are made.
