Quilting Gone Wrong

  • Chesterton Art Center 115 S. 4th Street Chesterton, IN United States (map)

Leslie Cefali and students of her “Quilting Gone Wrong” class from last year will be showing their unique take on art quilts in the back gallery. Traditional quilting rules will be tossed out the window. Leslie, the instructor, provided this description, "We broke all rules - we love knots, we celebrate big stitches and we never, ever turn under a hem. Oh, and we pretty much outlaw straight, even edges. Big stitches and knots were encouraged in an effort to create fiber pieces full of texture, color and wild abandon!

Frontline Foundation clients will be exhibiting their art work in the front gallery.
