Artist Talk with Shirley Guay and Rosalie Koldan
Join us at the Lubeznik in Michigan City on Sunday, April 7, at 1pm (CST) for an Artist Talk with exhibiting artists Shirley Guay and Rosalie Koldan! Learn about all the works in their exhibition, "Collaboration."
Coinciding with Women’s History Month, “Collaboration” is the combined work of Shirley Guay and Rosalie Koldan. Shirley Guay creates abstract realism, combining patterns, colors, and textures, with symbolic images of Black American life, while Rosalie Koldan creates assemblage art influenced by her research into various cultures, and important political, social and environmental issues. Together these two artists align in “Collaboration” as a true testament to their artistic practice and life together.
