“Let Me Win” by Chris Shaw Swanson, a drama about an athlete in the Special Olympics national games determined to win a first place medal to earn home state accolades.

“Personal Demons” by Maryanne Truax details a female demon’s threats to “break-up” with the subject of her intended torment.

“Camouflaged Nails” by Anthony L. Mariani follows a homeless woman who becomes part of a big surprise on the day of a large street parade.

“All the Decorations” by Dean Donofrio has a wife, who is a romance novel author, attempting to secure the love interest opinions of a very disinterested hubby. Roses? Skywriting?

“Being Ferried” by Marj O’Neill-Butler is a telling tale of a mother and daughter riding the Staten Island ferry on their way to a wedding and greeted by their own matchmaking opportunity.

“Given Away” by Greg Lam is a drama about the pending same-sex marriage of two women who discover one of their sets of parents is not at all as they had portrayed themselves from earlier social interaction.

“Character Assassination” by Robert O’Connell introduces a novelist who writes murder mysteries and his strange encounter with a police detective who describes himself as a dedicated fan of the writer’s books.

“Slow Burn” by Brian Cox includes the dynamics of a trio, two women and one man, with one of the women revealing she is a hired assassin whose specialty is remedying the problem of cheating husbands.

“Ready to Sell” by Tom Raber follows a con artist couple who discover career challenges with their expertise in selling fraudulent treasurers.

“Two Broody Hens” by R.A. Pauli highlights what happens when a hen decides to leave her eggs and nest to “cross the road” and what’s waiting on the other side.
