Arts Providers Receive Public Arts Funding Through South Shore Arts

Governor Mitch Daniels signed into law HEA1001 in May and, with it, a $1.25 million increase for the Indiana Arts Commission over the next two years. The increase is earmarked for operational grants for arts organizations throughout the State. In Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties, that means an increase of $52,980 that South Shore Arts can re-grant for fiscal year 2008 in it’s role as an IAC Regional Arts Partner.
