In collaboration with the Charles M. Schulz Museum, South Shore Arts will present Peanuts At Bat: The Art and Life of Charles M. Schulz, an exhibit exploring Schulz's personal history and his role as the sole inspiration and artistic talent behind Peanuts and its unique cast of characters.

The exhibit includes examples of more than 40 comic strips and preliminary sketches that follow the development of the characters who make up the unique world of Peanuts, quotes and photographs explaining the art of Charles M. Schulz in his own words, a timeline of his life from his roots in Minnesota to his life in California, and selected Peanuts collectibles.

School groups may arrange for a free docent-led tour of the exhibit. A mini-cartooning workshop, The ABC’s of Cartooning, is available to groups visiting this exhibit.
